How Popular Might These Books Become?

Cheryl Strayed’s Pacific Crest Trail book “Wild” sold over 11,000 copies during its first few months in print (2010), and was made into a Hollywood movie starring Reese Witherspoon, in 2014.

Appalachian Trail Bestseller “Walk in the Woods,” published by author Bill Bryson in 1997, was made into a movie which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015.

NOBODY has yet made a movie about the Continental Divide Trail. And before now, nobody has ever written a popular-novel about the CDT that takes you along the whole trail from start to finish, as if you are actually experiencing the trail yourself! In fact, Robert Moor of The New Yorker thinks that before Racing the Clouds, nobody has ever written a thoroughly satisfying non-fiction book about long-distance backpacking, ever!

Part of Cheryl Strayed and Bill Bryson’s success came from already being established authors. How can Racing the Clouds become a bestseller?

Every chapter in these books is about relatable day-to-day issues like Ambition, Choices, Faith, Foolishness, Bravery and Gratitude. People who have never set-foot in the wilderness can thoroughly enjoy them as much as seasoned adventurers.
